1. How do I get started at PilatesNow?

Getting started is easy! Simply visit our Membership page to choose the plan that works best for you and complete your purchase. If you're new to Pilates, we recommend starting with a casual class or our Trial Pack to get a feel for the studio. Once you've purchased, you'll receive an email with details about the studio and what you need to bring, with a link to the timetable where you can book classes directly. Need help with the process? Just give us a call, and we'll walk you through it!

2. What makes PilatesNow different?

Our instructors are dedicated professionals who customize each workout to meet the needs of the group and adjust for individual abilities. Whether you're carrying an injury or just starting your fitness journey, we’ll ensure you’re supported every step of the way. We foster a non-judgmental, welcoming environment where all bodies are celebrated, and every member is valued.

3. What should I bring to class?
Be sure to bring your grip socks, a towel, and a water bottle to keep hydrated. For hygiene and safety, we ask that you wear grip socks for Reformer and Mat classes. If you forget your socks, no worries—just let us know, and you can purchase a pair at the studio. Don’t forget to bring your smile and positive energy—we’re here to support you!

4. What’s parking like?
We’re lucky to have plenty of parking available next to the studio, this is usually quiet at the time of our regular morning & evening sessions.

5. How far in advance can I book a class?
You can book your classes in advance using the PilatesNow website. Just make sure your membership or class pack is active, and you’re good to go!

6. Can I do multiple classes in one day?
Of course! If there’s space available, you’re welcome to book multiple classes in one day. However, we recommend allowing your body some time to recover between sessions to maximize results and avoid overtraining. Pilates is all about building strength gradually, so listen to your body and let your muscles recover!

7. What happens on public holidays?
We operate on a slightly modified schedule for public holidays. Some major holidays may result in studio closures, but we’ll always keep you updated via our website.

8. Is there an age limit for attending Reformer classes?
Pilates is for over 16's, however if your teen is mature enough, they’re welcome to join our classes after an introductory session.

9. Can I reserve a permanent spot in a class?
While we don’t offer permanent reservations, you can book in advance and make sure you’re getting into the classes you love. If a class is full, add yourself to the waitlist! Cancellations happen, and there’s often space for you to join.

10. What should I do if I have an injury?
We’re here to help! Simply let your instructor know before class, and they’ll guide you through modifications to ensure your session is safe and effective. Pilates can be a great way to stay active and strengthen areas that need extra care.

11. I’ve never done Pilates before—will I be okay?
Absolutely! Our instructors are here to support you, no matter your experience level. We offer beginner-friendly classes, and our instructors will provide guidance and modifications to ensure you feel comfortable in any class.

We ask for at least 12 hours’ notice to cancel a class without a penalty. If you cancel within the 12 hours we will charge a full class cancellation fee.

13. What if I’m running late?

To respect the class flow and everyone’s time, our doors will be locked at the scheduled class time. We ask that you arrive atleast 5 minutes early to settle in and be ready to start. If you’re running late, unfortunately, you won’t be able to join the class, but we’re happy to help you reschedule.
